Does WARDOGS have an AFK kick?

Short answer: WARDOGS does kick AFK players, but not everywhere, and not consistently. On the Asia servers I've been kicked for being AFK lots of times, usually within 10 to 15 minutes. But on 16 October, the second day of Season 02, I left a Europe (West) server for about 80 minutes and came back still in it, and later that day I was away 22 minutes over lunch and wasn't kicked either.

How long does WARDOGS let you AFK on Asia servers?

On the Asia servers, the WARDOGS AFK kick usually came for me within about 10 to 15 minutes. I've been kicked for it multiple times, which is why the Season 02 result surprised me.

What happened when I went AFK in Season 02?

I left WARDOGS running on an official Europe (West) server, parked in a car, and went out shopping. When I came back about 80 minutes later, the map had changed and the team selection screen was up. I was sure there was no way I was still on the same server. I was. I joined a team and carried on.

Did WARDOGS kick me for AFK a second time in Europe?

No, WARDOGS didn't kick me for being AFK in Europe the second time either. Later on 16 October I left my Kodiak sitting in the safe zone, made lunch, ate it outside, and came back still in the game, still sat in the Kodiak. My last screenshot before I went and my first one after are 22 minutes and 29 seconds apart. That's longer than it ever took to get kicked on the Asia servers, so it looks like there's no AFK kicking on Europe right now, which is a problem.

So from my own games: an AFK kick within 15 minutes in Asia, and none at all in Europe, once after 80 minutes and once after 22. I don't know yet if that's something new in Season 02 or something specific to the Europe servers.

What has BULKHEAD said about AFK kicks?

Not much in public. BULKHEAD's Season 02 patch notes mention kicks for team-killing and for sustained high ping, but nothing about AFK or inactivity. WARDOGS Hub's guide to being kicked says an inactivity kick exists, and that patch 0.11 listed "AFK kicking during seeding disabling" as planned, meaning idle players were being removed while a server was still filling up.

That fits my Asia experience better than my Europe one: when I got back to Europe (West) #13 it had around 60 players on it, so it wasn't a server still filling up.

What is the WARDOGS ping limit on Europe servers?

The WARDOGS ping limit on Europe (West) #13 is 250 ms. The server browser shows "Max allowed ping 250 ms" for it, the first actual number I've seen for the region-based ping limits from the Season 02 patch notes. Per the patch notes, players who stay over a server's limit for a sustained period are kicked and can't rejoin that server until the next map. I've covered the ping limits in the best WARDOGS servers for Southeast Asia.
