How bad is the rain in WARDOGS?
Short answer: the rain in WARDOGS is bad enough that I drove past my turn and crashed into a cliff I normally turn at. It arrived in Season 02, and BULKHEAD's patch notes say "spotting range is affected by rain". On 30 October I could only see my own team at a tower because of the little red marker above their heads, and an enemy helicopter followed me all the way back to headquarters without firing.
How much can you see in the rain in WARDOGS?
Not much. On 30 October, on the map with the stadium on the east side (Ozeti), I was cutting across a field on my route to Tower 3. I ended up where I was meant to be before I even knew it, and crashed into a cliff I normally turn at. I hadn't realised I'd got to the road where I make the turn, and I just couldn't see that I was going over the hill.
I could only see my team in the tower because of the little red thing above their heads. If they'd been the enemy, I probably wouldn't have seen them.

Does rain hide you from helicopters in WARDOGS?
It might. On the way back from Tower 3 to headquarters, an enemy helicopter followed me for quite some time. I could see him on the minimap, basically above me, and he never fired at me. Either he was bad, or his visibility was reduced too.

What does rain change in WARDOGS?
BULKHEAD's Season 02 patch notes added rain as a new weather preset, and it does more than look wet:
- Spotting: "Spotting range is affected by rain."
- Sound: rain sounds different depending on whether you're under cover, indoors, in a vehicle or out in the open.
- Thunder: it rolls in during heavier rain, and every player on the server hears the same strike at the same moment from the same direction. BULKHEAD says it's "loud enough to mask footsteps, so use it strategically".
- Fire: "Molotov fire is reduced by rain."
- Roofs: destroy a roof and the rain starts coming through it.
I'm not sure how much difference the sound of the rain makes, but the visibility is bad.
Which WARDOGS maps get rain?
I've had rain on two maps so far. The first time I saw it was on 17 October, two days into Season 02, while we were waiting for a round to start at headquarters, with players kicking a football around the pitch in the downpour. On what I think is the sunflower map (Bakurani), people will easily be able to hide in the sunflowers, because in the rain you can't really see anything. The second was the stadium map on 30 October.

Do graphics settings help you see in the rain in WARDOGS?
I don't know yet. I've only played it on my laptop, with most things on Low or Potato. I'd say that makes it harder, but maybe easier, and I can't tell you which until I've played in the rain on my beast computer.
