Who's on the wanted list in Probably Stolen?
Short answer: the Probably Stolen wanted list has nine names, from Lou at 1,500 credits down to Juan at 75. Officer Lun from the security department gives it to you on day one, and when someone on it is at your counter, you press the alarm button and security takes them away. I caught Arthur Lafleur on day three for 100 credits. Reporting someone raises your reputation with Security and lowers it with The Revolution.
Who is on the Probably Stolen wanted list?
These are the bounties on the demo's wanted list. They may change in the full game.
| Wanted | Bounty |
|---|---|
| Lou | 1,500 credits |
| The Butcher | 450 credits |
| Li Bei Wen | 400 credits |
| James Bailey | 300 credits |
| Odin Haraldsson | 300 credits |
| Leroy | 300 credits |
| John Smith | 125 credits |
| Arthur Lafleur | 100 credits |
| Juan | 75 credits |
By day 15 I hadn't got any of the big bounties. Lou alone is worth 15 Arthurs.
Who is Arthur Lafleur in Probably Stolen?
Arthur Lafleur is on the wanted list for 100 credits, the second-lowest bounty on it. He came into my shop on day three looking sus, as a "Lower Level Citizen", while I had the wanted list and the cigarette handbook open across my screen.

I did not know how to do the wanted thing, and it took me a minute to find the alarm. Security captured Arthur Lafleur, 100 credits went into my account, and my reputation with Security went up.

Who is John Smith in Probably Stolen?
John Smith is on the wanted list for 125 credits, just above Arthur Lafleur. If he turns up at your counter, it's the same as Arthur: press the alarm, security takes him, and you get the credits.
How do you catch someone on the wanted list?
You catch someone on the wanted list by pressing the alarm button on your counter while they're in front of you, which calls security. Officer Lun gives you the list on day one. Make it small and park it at the side of your screen, because you can leave it open all day, and it goes in your dossier with every other note you get.
What happens to your reputation when you report someone?
Reporting someone raises your reputation with Security and lowers it with The Revolution. When I turned Arthur in, the game told me straight away that my store had lost reputation with The Revolution.
Should you report wanted criminals in Probably Stolen?
Yes, I'd report them, unless you know what The Revolution is going to pay you for keeping them sweet. Keeping them on your side without a clear reward means you're banking on hopes and dreams. Whereas, bruh, Security gave me 100 credits to turn this guy in.
I did let one of them go. He told me he was going to buy weapons off me, but then I lost the card to ring him.
Can you blackmail wanted criminals instead?
You can try. The Bargain panel has a Blackmail option for criminals: "Threaten to report this customer to Security unless they offer better prices when trading." It always fails on customers who aren't criminals. The other bargaining options are in my Probably Stolen tips.
What happens if you report the wrong person?
I don't know yet, because I never did it. The game does keep count: my day 31 save has a wrongful report count of 0 out of a maximum of 5.
